Character Name: Kate Lockley
Character Age: 28
Character Fandom: Angel

Character Residence/Roommates and approximate location: Kate lives in an apartment in south Della Rosa, grid G20.
Character Class/Work Schedule/Information: Kate is a homicide detective with the FTPD. She's stationed at Precinct 73 on 68th Street, grid I17 in the City Hall District. Her hours tend to vary, though generally go from morning to early evening. She’s very dedicated to her job, and chances are if she’s not doing it, she’s thinking about it.
Brief Character Description: She stands at 5' 8" (1.73 m), and manages to make blond hair and blue eyes intimidating. She’s a tough person, and it’s obvious, but like most people she has a tender side. The only people who get to see it, though, are her family, spanning girlfriends and children and very close friends. It takes a while to get there—unless someone she trusts loves you first.

Special Character Powers/Abilities: Kate has no special powers to speak of—this does not, however, make her an easy target. She’s been trained as a cop, and she took it seriously. She is fully capable of taking down a man twice her size, provided he’s not supernatural—not to say she won’t get a bit battered herself. (She’s also capable of ramming a two by four through two people, but let’s just chalk that up to adrenaline.)
Brief Character History:
My name is Kate Lockley—probably Detective Lockley to you. Never Katie, unless you’re Shane or Tara or Bruce. They’re the reason I’m here. Fandom Metropolis, somewhere between New York and Jersey and who knows what else.
I’m used to strange cities. First LA, which would be strange enough without the demons, then Fandom Town, which has evil ducks that spout fire. I prefer Tropolis to both.
I followed them here, from Fandom Town, and it’s the best thing I ever did. Tara’s here on a mission from the Powers That Be, to investigate evil, which they apparently know fuck all about, like everything else.
I can’t help but be grateful, though. They brought Tara back from the dead, and that’s worth everything in the world. They gave the world a champion, flawed and damaged and one of the only friends I’ve ever had. One of the closest things to a hero I ever saw.
Besides, if it wasn’t for divine intervention I wouldn’t have made it to Fandom Town in the first place—worms and dirt and nothing, forever.
